Yenci Santiago

Controller

With more than 18 years of experience in multifamily accounting, Yenci Santiago brings deep expertise in financial management, process improvement, and team leadership to her role as Controller at Ascent Multifamily Accounting.

Before joining Ascent, Yenci spent over 15 years working for a large property management company where she started as a temp employee and worked her way to becoming the Accounting Manager. She oversaw the accounting operations for a portfolio of nearly 70 properties. Her extensive background in property-level accounting, financial reporting, and team supervision has given her a comprehensive understanding of the multifamily industry’s unique financial challenges.

Since joining Ascent three years ago as an Assistant Controller, Yenci has become an integral part of the leadership, overseeing accounting operations and training new staff to ensure consistency, accuracy, and excellence across all client portfolios. She is known for her hands-on approach, commitment to mentoring others, and passion for helping both clients and team members succeed.

Yenci earned her bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in accounting, and she continues to apply her strong educational foundation and real-world experience to advance Ascent’s mission of delivering exceptional outsourced accounting services to the multifamily industry.

I enjoy camping with family and friends, taking short trips to decompress and regroup. I have been married for 26 years and 4 children and 4 grandchildren. I enjoy watching sports especially Football, Basketball and Baseball. If I had a choice to be anywhere, I would be in a river somewhere floating around on a tube living my best life.

Justin Asay

Justin Asay

Justin Asay has over 17 years of experience in both property and HOA accounting and financial services. He has been with Ascent for over 11 years where he has worked his way from staff accountant to Ascents system account manager. His expertise and cheerful demeanor have made him an indispensable part of Ascent where he provides guidance to both staff and clients for multifamily accounting best practices and excellence.  

Justin received a Bachelor’s from Southern Utah State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Prior to working with Ascent he worked doing mortgage loan accounting and managing the accounting for the HOA at Sun City Anthem, consisting of several thousand homes. With Justin’s education and experience he has become a master in budgets, software conversions,  property accounting best practices.

As a Partner at Ascent Multifamily Accounting, Amy Williams oversees human resources services supporting more than 700 employees across 18 states. She has designed and implemented a wide range of benefits and incentive programs that give Ascent’s clients access to the same level of HR support and employee offerings typically reserved for large national organizations.

Amy’s career in property management began in 1994 as a leasing agent in Las Vegas. Over the past 31 years, she has built extensive experience across all facets of the industry—from on-site operations to corporate leadership. Her dedication, hands-on management style, and deep understanding of the multifamily workforce have been instrumental in Ascent’s ability to deliver scalable, people-focused HR solutions
