Ascent Multifamily Accounting is a recognized leader in the property management industry. Due to continued growth and expansion of our business model, we have several opportunities for experienced property accountants at our corporate headquarters in Las Vegas.
Responsibilities
Property accountants/bookkeepers handle the books for a portfolio of properties for our clients. The ability to review financial statements, produce general ledger journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation is paramount to success.
Job Requirements
You should have a minimum of two years of accounting/bookkeeping experience and/or an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field. The right candidates will enjoy working in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment, showing strong attention to detail and enjoy learning and being a team player. We look for people who can communicate professionally and effectively in person, over the phone and via e-mail. It is helpful to be familiar with one or more property management software programs like Yardi Voyager, RealPage OneSite, Entrata, AppFolio, MRI or Resman.
